Major League Cricket is a professional T20 franchise league in the United States, organized by American Cricket Enterprises and sanctioned by USA Cricket, which played its inaugural season in July 2023. The league operates as a single entity of six city-based franchises, several of which are backed by IPL owners, including MI New York (Mumbai Indians), Texas Super Kings (Chennai Super Kings) and Los Angeles Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders). MI New York won the inaugural title in 2023 and again in 2025, with Washington Freedom taking the 2024 crown and Los Angeles Knight Riders winning their first title in 2026 with a one-run victory over Washington Freedom. The league has announced plans to expand from six to ten teams.
