When Will the SA20 2027 Auction Take Place?

The SA20 Season 5 player auction will take place on October 7, 2026, with 19 squad positions available across Joburg Super Kings, MI Cape Town, Pretoria Capitals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. The SA20 2027 season will begin on January 17, 2027, when defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape face Pretoria Capitals at St George’s Park in Gqeberha. The tournament will conclude with the final at Newlands in Cape Town on February 21, 2027.
