The mobile cricket gaming industry is preparing for several exciting releases in 2026. The biggest among them could be eCricket, an ambitious AAA-quality game currently being developed by LightFury Games.

Nextwave Multimedia, the studio behind WCC3, is also working on WCC4, the next major game in its popular World Cricket Championship series.

Meanwhile, KRAFTON has soft-launched Cricket All Stars for selected Android users in India, with fans now waiting for a wider release. Together, these games could make 2026 an important year for mobile cricket gaming.

eCricket Game

eCricket is an upcoming AAA-quality mobile cricket game being developed by LightFury Games. The developers aim to create a realistic cricket experience with high-quality graphics, fresh controls and more tactical gameplay.

The game is currently going through a private playtest. Before this testing phase, selected fans also received an opportunity to experience it at an eCricket fan event. However, participants are not permitted to publicly share gameplay footage or confidential details from the test.

ECRICKET GAME FIELDING ANIMATION

One of eCricket’s biggest highlights is its licensing agreement covering more than 600 international cricketers. Indian stars such as MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Shreyas Iyer have also invested in LightFury Games, although their appearance as playable characters has not yet been officially confirmed.

The developers have indicated that batting and bowling will feel different from traditional mobile cricket games. Players can expect greater control over their shots, deliveries and match strategies.

eCricket is expected to arrive on mobile devices in 2026, but its exact release date has not been announced. Its Android and iOS rollout details also require final confirmation from LightFury Games.

World Cricket Championship 4

World Cricket Championship 4 is the next major mobile game from Nextwave Multimedia, the studio behind the popular WCC series. Its earlier titles, especially WCC2, helped the franchise become a well-known name among mobile cricket gamers.

The WCC4 Android beta was released in May 2026, giving players an early look at its gameplay. As an early beta, the game may receive further optimisation, gameplay improvements and visual polishing before its complete release. The developers can use player feedback to improve it before the complete release.

WCC4 is expected to offer licensed international players, improved graphics, smarter AI and redesigned batting and bowling controls. Its Google Play listing also mentions new squad-building and progression systems.

RECENT BETA GAMEPLAY OF WCC4

A final global release date has not been confirmed publicly, with current reports pointing towards a possible 2026-27 launch. If Nextwave successfully improves the beta, WCC4 could become one of the most notable mobile cricket games to watch.

Cricket All Stars by Krafton

Cricket All Stars is a new mobile cricket game published by KRAFTON, one of the world’s largest gaming companies. KRAFTON has been expanding its presence in cricket gaming after acquiring a controlling stake in Nautilus Mobile, the studio behind Real Cricket.

Cricket All Stars received a limited Android soft launch in India during 2026. The early version included two officially licensed IPL teams: Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. Its detailed player faces, smooth animations, broadcast-style presentation and 60 FPS graphics made it look promising.

The game currently appears to offer a faster, arcade-style experience rather than the deeper simulation found in Real Cricket. More teams, modes and features may be added before its wider release, although a career mode has not yet been officially confirmed.

KRAFTON has also not announced the final public release date or an iOS version. However, Cricket All Stars could become a strong competitor to Real Cricket, WCC4 and eCricket if its wider version delivers greater depth alongside its impressive visuals.

Other Mobile Cricket Games and Updates

Alongside these major titles, cricket fans can also expect more mobile gaming developments. Cricket Club Owner 2026 offers a different experience by allowing players to manage a cricket club, build a squad and make important tactical decisions. It was released for iPhone in July 2026, while work on an Android version is also underway.

Real Cricket is another game worth following. KRAFTON and Nautilus Mobile continue to release new modes, licensed content and gameplay improvements for the existing game. Although a major graphics upgrade has not been confirmed, stronger competition from eCricket and WCC4 could encourage the developers to improve Real Cricket further.

Overall, eCricket, WCC4 and Cricket All Stars are among the most exciting mobile cricket games to watch. Which one are you looking forward to playing? Share your choice in the comments and rate this Sportzclaus article.
